The title says it all really 😀

The past week has been all about the XP in DDO. I’m not sure why but I was determined for Hymm to hit 28 by the weekend. The previous weekend he was a few thousand short of level 25. Rach switched to her cleric who was still lurking around at level 26 and still needed some Epic Destinies finishing off and we spent most of the week duo’ing.. well.. just about everything! Every now and again we’d have Aldrac, Tobril or Samius join us, which just made the quests even more fun and faster.

Saturday afternoon we logged on and our guildie Korv was on. He doesn’t play as much as he used to but we knew he was going to be around on Saturday and his level 21 artificer needed to finish flagging for VoN, so we started with those, then just kept on going. We were joined later in the day by Aldrac & Tobril. By the end of the days play, his character had reached level 24 and was flagged for both VoN and CitW. Hymm was level 27.

Sunday myself & Rach started running through the Storm Horns missions, with Aldrac joining us just as we were finishing the first, Trackers Trap, and we followed up with Lines of Supply before having to go do some family visiting.

When we got back, we decided to run another VoN3 ( you know – before they nerf it 😦 ) and then finish off a few quests needed for saga XP, so we ran The High Road & Druid chains. The last quest in the druid chain capped me 🙂

So, why was I so bothered about capping? It happens sometimes. It’s not that I wasn’t enjoying this build, but I did want to move to my next life. And so, last night after several hours of TR cache clearing, checking equipment & build plans, I ITR’d into a BladeForged build which, at the moment, is going to be 2 Paladin / 6 Monk / 12 Favoured Soul.

I have no idea how it will work out. Rach has epic TR’d her main character Willowing (Rogue) and then heroic TR’d into a Shadar Kai Artificer build. She’s working towards improving that char to make her the best rogue she can 😀 And Aldrac ITR’d into a BladeForged too (not sure of the build, but I am 99% certain it will involve a monk splash – we’re both huge fans of monks!)
