Hey all. Apologies for the looong time between blog posts and app updates. Turns out the whole world being in lockdown had no effect in terms of free time for me – and the free time I have had has been used to play DDO 😀

Anyway, I finally have the next version of the DDO Puzzle App deployed to the Google Play Store. This includes a Pentacle light puzzle and the Smash & Burn Dice Puzzle solver, written by FuryFlash.

The Pentacle light puzzle is just a replication of the DDO Wiki image that tells you what to press. I really wanted to do something a bit more interactive but that’s going to have to wait.

New and Improved DDO Puzzle App

Finally! It’s done! The new version of the DDO Puzzle App is now available for Android. Er… *cough* it’s actually been out for about a month but I forgot to post the blog…

There is not a great deal of new content in terms of quest puzzles, but I have expanded the ‘Prove your Worth’ to include the answers to the questions on the Heroic version of the quest and added the Sir Raleigh questions & answers for the Prison of the Planes room. I also added the Memory Lapse book order to a release going out for testing today, so that should be available in the next few days.

There is new functionality though.

It’s Alive!

Way back when, in the mists of time *cough* 3 years ago *cough* I said I was putting together an app that would bring together solvers for the puzzles found in DDO. And as of today – that app is live!

As an excuse I would like to offer Bonnie’s explanantion

OK, it’s only out on Windows (10) for now (since I reckon most DDO players have 2 monitors and hopefully Windows 10)….

This blog is well over a week late – because we TR’d last weekend after completing our last set of lives (mine a Druid, Rach a Ranger). That was (thankfully) my last Druid life. I can’t say I’ve really enjoyed any of them, apart from the use of the Earthquake spell.

Things have been a bit quiet regarding the DDO Puzzles app and I wanted to give those few of you who may be interested in it an update.

It’s not done yet.

OK a bit more than that :-). I really wanted it to be released by the end of June, but we moved house a few weeks ago so the last few weeks have been spent packing, moving, cleaning, decorating – all the fun things you want to fill your spare time :-/ Continue reading →

Life 18

Sunday afternoon myself and Rach capped our current lives. It feels like this life has gone pretty quickly (which I guess it has, 15 to 28 rather than the 1 to 28 of the previous life). I am, however, getting a bit bored of bards now. The plan was to TR back into my last artificer life using the previous artibard build – but I couldn’t face it. So last night we TR’d and I’ve gone with a more traditional artificer build, with a 2 rogue splash for evasion. We’re back to level 1 (actually, level 2 after a quick run of Korthos Village), the plan being to again hit 28, epic TR then heroic TR.
