Anybody who has read my blogs in the past will know that a few months ago I started playing on Orien twice a week, helping Micki with her TR’d monk, Maidae. That was back in November, checking my blog history 🙂

Random thoughts
So, it’s been a few weeks since I last wrote a blog. To be honest, I’ve not really felt like it. I still don’t 🙂 I’m kind of bored of telling you all what I do each week, mainly because I tend to do the same thing each week 😛 which I guess we all do in a way…
So, here’s a quick blog about random stuff…

This Week and Some Firsts
It’s been my usual week of DDO, but I have had a few ‘first times’ happen.
Monday & Thursday was Orien night as usual. Micki & Dom got me flagged for the Titan raid, which I’ve never done. In fact, as a rule my guild hates the Restless Isles. The only mission we ever do out there is the Shrieking Mines, so finishing Ghola-Fan was my first ‘first’ 🙂
The rest of the week has been spent running my TR Hymm. He’s now 19, closing in on 20. My other two guildies have hit 20 now. We’ve moved onto the missions in Amrath, and dragged legend out there with us on Sunday afternoon as he has recently picked up the pack. His bard did a lovely job of mes’ing the trash in Sins of Attrition 🙂
Weekly Catch Up
Firstly – I seem to have lost all imagination when it comes to naming my blogs – so sorry about that!
Another exciting week of stuff 🙂 Well, for me anyway!
I spent a lot of time on Orien Mon-Thur. Hop over to Micki’s page to see what we did. It was nice to get more of a run around with my monk on there… and we managed an excellent job of synchronised meditation in VoN3 😛
Christmas Blog
OK, there’s nothing actually Christmassy about this blog, apart from the fact it’s Christmas Day tomorrow 😉 But, Merry Christmas to you all, hope Santa brings you all the loot you want!
This week in DDO has been fairly steady. I’ve run on Orien Monday & Thursday. Check out Micki’s blog for all our exciting adventures 🙂
Hymm, who I class as my main (and favourite) character has now taken level 16 and thanks to a run of House C challenges on Sunday has caught up with my guildmates and has level 17 banked.

Saturday Update
Firstly, apologies for the lack of a blog last week. But Samius did a fine job of covering for me 🙂
During the week I’ve been running my main TR, Hymm, on Sarlona. He’s taken 15 and will probably be taking 16 soon, so looking at getting the Gianthold flagging missions out of the way.
The twice weekly runs on Orien continue. Monday we ran VoN 1-4 which, regardless of a few hitches with traps, went very nicely. Thursday we reran Deleras Tomb. As my artificer had already run these I switched to my light monk, which made a nice change 🙂

Weekly Catch Up
Well, it’s been another busy week in real life but I’ve managed to get some decent gaming time in – here goes 🙂
During the week I’ve been running my main TR, Hymm, on Sarlona and had a few nights running with Micki & Dom on Orien.
Because both my TR’s had hit level 13, but two of our guildies are not really playing at the moment, the other 3 of us decided to switch which TR’s we were concentrating on. Hymm is my main guy that I like the most 🙂 He’s now at level 14 and with 15 banked.
Thursday night I ran the Phiarlan Carnival chain which went really well. Though Micki has no idea how to find her way around A Small Problem 🙂 Friday we ran The Pit & Gwylans Stand. I got to run these with my level 8 light monk I’m experimenting with on Orien and yay! I didn’t die 🙂

Weekly Run Down
It’s been a busy week, both in DDO & real life. But since I’m fairly sure you don’t want to hear about the project I’m on at work that’s filling my spare hours, or how I’m ripping out my garden, I’ll stick with DDO 🙂
We got one guildie back, then lost two. One of the guys has had some changes at work, so he can’t play for a few weeks. One guy has a new girlfriend. So we’re down to our three main players at the moment.
Thursday night I played on Orien again. Was killed for the first time ever by lag. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had plenty of lag in game before. But this was a complete standstill, cannot do anything while a horde of orcs massacred the party 🙂

Orien Calls
So last night, I was bad. I ditched Sarlona for the night and went to run around Orien with some friends 🙂
It was fun. It was interesting to try a human artificer, rather than the warforged version I have on Sarlona. I have a whole new level of respect for PermaDeath players though. Trying to disable traps when you have no gear from other characters, no cash to buy gear, no crafting levels… well lets just say there were a few boxes blown. And maybe a few deaths 🙂
Overall, it was a fun few hours 🙂
Oh, and Micki is right. Maidae does look hot in her underwear and she did a fine job of distracting her teammates enemies 🙂
Have fun, see you around!
Catch Up
It’s not been the most exciting of weeks, so I haven’t much to pass along. But I’m going to bore you all with it anyway 🙂
Our 5th guildie finally got his internet sorted out, so managed to get a few days of Mabar in with him before it dropped. Unfortunately all my farming plans seem to have gone out the window, I think I’ll have to get serious with it when (if?) it comes back later this month.
We’re gradually getting back to running our TR’s, who are now at 13 (Hymm, with 14 banked) and 11 (Fyrne with 12 banked).
I do miss my light monk though. So I cheated and created a Vet II light monk on Orien to try my whirlwind build with. He doesn’t get played very often, but it’s nice to jump on with him now & then.
Yesterday I realised that there is one mission in the whole of DDO that I actually hate. It’s the Claw of Vulkoor. Why you ask? It’s the damn Priestess Ionna! She sounds like Michael Jackson, whispering in my ear. Bugs me! lol
OK, that’s me for now.
Have fun, see you around!
