I’ve had a couple of busy weeks so I haven’t had a chance to get a blog up recently. Not that I think you’ve all been sat there, waiting, for my next installment of exciting adventures π
But here you go anyway. Warning I’ve got a lot of pictures in this one π
The last few weeks I’ve been concentrating on Hymm, my favourite character. He’d fallen slightly behind my guildmates who had reached 20, while he was lazing around at mid 19. So, I got him to 20 and started running the Eveningstar chains. As he is a TR, he’s already got a few ED’s done. In the last few weeks I’ve managed to cap Shiradi (which, apart from the healing spring, is kind of useless to me…) and am now half way through Fury of the Wild.
I’ve had a lot of fun running the latest updates with Hymm. He’s doing some good damage, and only seems to die when I get distracted by the stupid hair dyes I’ve subjected him to π
And I’ve even picked up my first ever +4 tome π
I even got around to jumping into a Shroud earlier this week. Only run on hard, the only glitch was when one of the team realised that he wasn’t getting XP, he was 18 and the LFM went up to 25… after a few minutes of complaining he dropped in part 3 ‘sigh’ don’t people read? π
Weekends, we’ve been rocking the eE’s and raids with the Defense Guild, which as always is lots of fun π
And Samius pointed out while waiting outside Lord of Dust last weekend that my Horc barbarian (3rd life) and Torrances’ halfling cleric (1st life) make quite a contrast in sizes π
Last night, I switched back to my dark monk and we ran some House D eE’s. We had a lot of zombies in the Black Loch…
Then Samius & Torrance logged on, and we stayed up later than normal running A Stay at the Inn on eE for the bracers (roll won by my guildie Aldrac – congrats), we also picked up another eE Bastion shield. And we finished the night off with an eE Trial by Fury.
And just to finish things off, this is a lovely shot of the High Road explorer area that is now my desktop background π
Have fun, see you around!
Ooh lovely pics Grim, congrats on the runs π
Grats Grim! I liked a lot the pic size matters. Your HOrc looks at least twice the size of the halfer. Impressive π
Thumbs up for the amount of eEs you ran, they can be extremely challenging if you can’t put the right group on the table. Not an issue I am sure with the Defense Guild hehe
Thanks for the treats and yes, we care if and when you post. Cheers and keep them coming π
And here I was thinking I’d see a song about me…
