Wylle Eckerslike – that’s my cleric.

Firstly, the name… well that’s a joke and to be honest, unless you have an idea of northern UK dialect, it would take way too long to explain. Suffice to say, the name Wylle has had several jokes & comments made about it. “Let’s play with your Wylle”, “Come here so I can touch your Wylle” (that was for a Masters Touch) etc etc. Yes, my guildies are all pervs – that’s why I get on with them so well 😀

Anyway, he’s been around for a while. But he’d been stuck around level 15 for about a year while I ran other characters I liked more. I have a preference for hitting things… But we have a definite lack of clerics in the guild. Row & Korv both have level 25 clerics, but Row has been responsible for the majority of our heals when we run raids and eE’s with the DG people, Korv doesn’t play as much as he used to. And although she likes her cleric, there are times when she’d like to run her other characters instead.

So, out came my Wylle ( you see how that works? 😛 ) Over the last few months I have been running him for a few hours at the weekend and slowly leveling him some more. When guildies Row & Aldrac hit 18 (?) I jumped on more with them and finished the leveling to 20. I was quite embarrassed to realise while running the last few heroic levels that I was still running around in level 4 and below gear. I was even wearing the goggles you get from Korthos Island! {facepalm} However, it turns out I had quite a bit of gear stashed away that I could use for him, both at 20 (Eveningstar) then 23/24 (Gianthold).

So currently I’m at level 24. I’ve got Exalted Angel & Unyielding Sentinel ED’s at levels 3 & 4 respectively. I’m going to work my way through as many ED’s as possible while running general missions. I am surprisingly pleased with the character now he’s equipped with gear that makes a difference. I’ve even run a few missions where nobody has died…. 😛 I may even volunteer to heal raids this weekend – who knows?
