Updated hourly, consider it sort of like a server up display, except instead of a green “yeah” light it shows the load for the last 4 hours. If the load average flatlines to zero, take the hint – that’s red.

Well I can’t TR without putting a picture up…. 😀
He’s currently 1 fighter / 2 monk / 12 druid. I can already see problems with the lack of spell points – but I haven’t spent any time sorting much gear out so I’m hoping that will help. I do have a stack of mana pots not doing much at the moment as a short term compensation. But the damage is very nice 🙂
He is, however, bigger than Rach’s Shadar Kai!

Firstly my apologies for this blog. It will probably be short and boring. But I’ve been ill & still feel crappy. I’m mainly posting for consistency with updates on Hymm.
It’s only taken 3 weeks to get from level 15 to level 28, which is pretty fast (for me)! I worked out if I could keep that rate going I’d manage 17 lives this year. To be honest – I can’t see that happening 😀 I didn’t think I’d actually hit level 28 this weekend (see note about being ill above) but I managed a few hours over the weekend and, with the help of guildies & the 20% XP boost, capped last night.

The past week has been all about the XP in DDO. I’m not sure why but I was determined for Hymm to hit 28 by the weekend. The previous weekend he was a few thousand short of level 25. Rach switched to her cleric who was still lurking around at level 26 and still needed some Epic Destinies finishing off and we spent most of the week duo’ing.. well.. just about everything! Every now and again we’d have Aldrac, Tobril or Samius join us, which just made the quests even more fun and faster.
Saturday afternoon we logged on and our guildie Korv was on. He doesn’t play as much as he used to but we knew he was going to be around on Saturday and his level 21 artificer needed to finish flagging for VoN, so we started with those, then just kept on going. We were joined later in the day by Aldrac & Tobril. By the end of the days play, his character had reached level 24 and was flagged for both VoN and CitW. Hymm was level 27.

Last day of 2013 and to be completely honest I can’t wait to say good bye to this year. On a personal level it’s been a pretty crappy year, which only improved in the last few months. (It’s just been pointed out to me that it’s my fault it was a crappy year – which it was. Eh)

Again, I’ve mainly been concentrating on Hymm and Dimachaerii over the last few weeks. A quick update on how they are doing (which isn’t much as the holidays have disrupted regular gaming).
Hymm is on his 7th life as an iconic Shadar Kai. Since his hTR into this life he’s got part way through 18. I was hoping to hit level 20 this weekend but I’ve been lazy, we’ve had family visiting, so it’s not happened.
Some people take family pictures and make Christmas cards out of them. I take in game pictures and do a Christmas card blog instead 😀
On Thursday evening I got Dimachaerii to level 20. I won’t go into the nitty gritty XP details like I did on a previous blog with Hymm as he’s a second lifer. But I will say that it did not really seem any easier with the new XP curve. Maybe I’ll see it more when I next TR a 3+ lifer….
Which nicely leads me to – Hymm! Because Dim is now 20 I can allocate him to weekend epics & raids as my DPS character and go back to working on Hymms (triple?) completionist. He picked up his epic Heart of Wood, courtesy of Turbine. On Friday evening evening my partner was out so I decided to get his eTR done. I took Colors of the Queen from the Primal Sphere (it was a choice between that and Doublestrike for my first eTR) then joined up with my guildie Aldrac and ran eE Impossible Demands & Unquiet Graves, then eH Wizard King. Some nice XP to start building on the Primal Sphere karma again.
